Blue Dollars

The intangible value of your time, made visible.

We're building tools and content that help you put a number on time spent at work, and the cost of that time on the rest of your life.

About

We know what our work pays. We don't always know what it costs.

Time spent at work is time not spent with people we love, on creative work that matters to us, or simply in our own company. That cost is real, but it doesn't appear on a payslip — so it usually doesn't appear in our decisions either.

Blue Dollars helps you put a number on it.

We build tools and content that guide you through quantifying the intangible value of your time, so you can make choices about your work, your career, and your life with the actual maths in front of you.

We've designed a different unit of account: one that takes embodiment, imagination, and quality of life seriously alongside money.

What's coming

The Blue Dollars Challenge.

Our flagship is a structured experience that walks you through calculating the value of your own time over several days, with reflection prompts, exercises, and a methodology shaped by people who have lived this question themselves.

A free version is in development. We'll write to you when it's ready.
